About Us: The Walker DNA

The Story: Founded in 2023 by Chicago native Derrius Walker, Walker Elite was born from a lifetime of high-level basketball. Derrius’s passion was ignited by his brother, Antoine Walker—a 3x NBA All-Star, NBA Champion, and NCAA Champion.

Watching the dedication required to reach the pinnacle of the sport allowed Derrius to build a blueprint for success. After a standout collegiate career and over a decade of coaching, Derrius launched Walker Elite to provide a focused, elite environment for the next generation.

Our Growth: In just a short time, we have expanded from two teams to over six, proving that our commitment to discipline, teamwork, and fundamental excellence resonates with the Park Ridge community.
